Sr. Product Manager (FinTech Products)

We are seeking an accomplished and proactive Senior Product Manager to lead the development of innovative FinTech solutions. This role operates at the intersection of technology and business, requiring strong collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional products aligned with strategic goals. • Client & Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Partner with clients and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable product requirements.

• Product Development & Management:
• Create comprehensive product requirements and manage product development processes using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Define and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with client goals and organizational vision.
• Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to deployment, delivering timely and high-quality outcomes.

• Research & Strategy:
• Conduct user research, industry analysis, and competitor mapping to identify opportunities and guide product development.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to shape and execute the organizations FinTech strategy.

• Team Management:
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Work with UI/UX designers and usability experts to craft outstanding customer experiences for all client-facing features.

• FinTech Expertise:
• Evaluate use cases around Open Banking, wallet development, payment gateways, and banking systems to define product requirements and ensure responsible delivery.
• Stay updated on FinTech trends, regulations, and technologies to integrate cutting-edge solutions into product development.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert in FinTech, providing guidance and training to internal teams as needed.
• Attend FinTech workshops, conferences, and deliver webinars to showcase expertise and share insights.

• Go-to-Market Activities:
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to prepare product and marketing materials.
• Support go-to-market initiatives to ensure successful product launches.

• Experience & Expertise:
• Minimum of 6+ years in product management, preferably in FinTech or BFSI domains.
• Strong technical background, with knowledge of Open Banking, wallet development, payment gateways, and banking processes.
• Hands-on experience designing and managing financial technology products.
• Tools & Methodologies:
• Proficiency with project management tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps (ADO), Slack, and Microsoft Teams.
• Expertise in Agile and Scrum methodologies for project management.
• Domain Knowledge:
• Up-to-date understanding of FinTech basics, including emerging trends in Open Banking, digital wallets, and payment systems.
• Core Skills:
  Exceptional communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to manage teams proactively and cultivate productive client and stakeholder relationships.
• Strong analytical mindset with keen attention to detail and a results-oriented attitude.

• Familiarity with industry standards and emerging best practices in product management and FinTech technology.
• Experience in building products or solutions for BFSI sectors.
• Exposure to the FinTech landscape in Australia and New Zealand.
• Experience working in startup environments.
• MBA or a master s degree in a related field.
