Sr. QA Engineer

As a Senior Q/A Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing, executing, and improving robust testing strategies. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, execute, and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform manual testing across platforms, including mobile (iOS and Android) and web applications.
• Develop and execute automation scripts and tests using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or other frameworks.
• Conduct system integration testing and end-to-end quality validation to ensure functionality, performance, and scalability.
• Perform API testing with a strong understanding of RESTful web services and related tools.
• Identify, record, and document software defects thoroughly and track them to resolution.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, UI/UX designers, and product teams, to ensure test coverage and quality across the SDLC.
• Work within Agile/Scrum or Kanban methodologies to meet quality and delivery milestones.
• Dig deeper into test failures, identify root causes, and collaborate on solutions to resolve issues effectively.
• Utilize testing and project management tools to report on test results and milestones.
• Contribute to process improvements to enhance software quality.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong foundation in manual testing and a focus on quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficiency in designing test plans, writing test cases, and executing test strategies.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium and Appium.
• Strong knowledge of REST API testing and SQL/database testing.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git (GitHub/GitLab) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in mobile testing for Android and iOS platforms.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Core Java, scripting languages, and OOPs concepts.
• Familiarity with mobile automation tools like Espresso and XCUITest.
• Exposure to AI/ML-based projects.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Katalon Studio or REST Assured.
