As a Sr. QA Engineer, you will be responsible for the testing efforts for our projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will be responsible for executing testing activities, as well as use your expertise in testing methodologies, tools, and processes will be instrumental in delivering efficient and effective testing.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain test plan and test case documentation;
Execute test cases across Web, iOS and Android mobile devices;
Document, report and escalate found defects to engineering staff;
Communicate with client engineering managers regarding project scope, test cases, schedule and bug submissions
Provide detailed reports to the engineering team on identified bugs and verifying any patches against those bugs
Provide leadership and guidance for the Applause community testing team; and
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (ISTQB, CSTE, etc.) are a plus.
Proven experience as a Test Lead or similar role, with a strong background in software testing and quality assurance.
Extensive knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various testing types, such as functional testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
Experience in test planning, test estimation, and test strategy development.
Proficiency in test management tools and defect tracking systems.
