Job Description :

The Power BI Developer (Python and SQL) will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying interactive Power BI reports and dashboards. You will leverage your Python skills to automate tasks, perform complex data analysis, and enhance the reporting process.

Your SQL expertise will be used to query and manipulate large datasets from multiple sources, ensuring that business users have access to clean and actionable data.

Key Responsibilities :

- Power BI Development : Design, develop, and maintain dynamic and visually appealing Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.

- Data Modeling : Create data models using Power BI to consolidate data from multiple sources and ensure the accuracy and integrity of reports.

- SQL Querying : Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and aggregate data from relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

- Data Automation : Utilize Python to automate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, enhancing the efficiency of reporting workflows.

- Performance Optimization : Optimize Power BI reports and SQL queries for performance, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery.

- Collaboration with Stakeholders : Work closely with business users, analysts, and IT teams to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution : Investigate and resolve issues related to data quality, report accuracy, and system performance.

- Documentation and Training : Provide documentation for reports and dashboards, and offer training to business users on how to use Power BI reports and insights effectively.

Required Skills :

- Power BI : Proficiency in creating and publishing Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models; strong knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query.

- Python : Experience in Python for data manipulation and automation; familiarity with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib for data analysis.

- SQL : Advanced skills in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions; experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

- Strong understanding of data modeling, data transformations, and best practices in BI development.

- Ability to work with large datasets, perform data wrangling, and ensure high-quality data for reporting.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on optimizing processes and workflows.

- Good communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
