Work from home, UK client, Full-time, Infrastructure Engineer/DevOps Engineer position

This role is for a substantial, fast-growing and well respected UK Logistics Tech Firm who has hired us to exclusively recruit for them. It is a permanent Work From Home position and everyday youll be working directly as part of their UK team. It is a senior role with real opportunities to learn and develop.

The business we are representing specialises in software for the Logistics industry and enables customers to streamline their operational processes, and manage the full life-cycle for client delivery on a global basis taking either a passenger or parcel from A to B. They are well known for investing significantly into their staff - this will be a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop new skills.

Location: Permanent Remote Work from Home in India

Minimum Experience: 4

Shift Timings: 12pm - 9:30pm (Summer), 1pm - 10:30pm (Winter)

Role and responsibilities

• Day to Day management of production infrastructure in AWS
• Implementing automated processes through the infrastructure
• Reviewing security compliances and implementing updates/upgrades/patches
• Implementing monitoring and alerting across all infrastructure
• Building new infrastructure and proposing new approaches - including R&D
• Producing cost saving analysis and recommendations on the regular basis
• Up-skilling internal resource

Essential skills and experience

• AWS cloud experience - 3 years (ideally certified - Professional or above)
• Linux admin - 3 years
• Windows admin - 3 years
• Terraform - 2 years
• GitLab - 1 year
• Forward thinking and proactive
• Inquisitive nature - happy to ask questions
• Good communicator
