This role is for a substantial, fast-growing and well respected UK tech company who has hired us to exclusively recruit for them. It is a permanent Work From Home position and everyday youll be working directly as part of their UK team. It is a senior role with real opportunities to learn and develop.

They are looking to make a full time hire for a long term position.

Location: Permanent Remote Work from Home in India

Experience: 5 Years

Shift Timings: 12pm - 9:30pm (Summer), 1pm - 10:30pm (Winter)

Role and responsibilities

• Working on our existing platform and managing its on-going development
• A hand in producing instructional documentation for training and sales
• Identifying potential areas of risk and bug fixing
• Product support and enquiry tracking
• Assisting in the planning, estimation of development time and task / Project breakdowns

Required skills and experience

• Strong working experience with PHP (5 + Years)
• Symfony and/or Laravel (4+ Years)
• MySQL (2+ Years)
• APIs (2+ Years)
• Possess the ability to work both independently, and seamlessly coordinate as part of a team
• Multiple years of experience across Symfony and/or Laravel, PHP, MySQL
• You will have strong analytical skills which will enable you to utilise simple solutions to tackle technical problems
• Incredible attention to detail —spelling, punctuation, and grammar errors are your enemy.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to hold collaborative conversations about project needs
• Problem solving (we’d love to have no problems, but they do sometimes arise!)
• Enjoy keeping abreast of the latest technologies

Desired skills and experience

• Object oriented (OO) methodologies and design patterns
• Symfony framework Experience (3 / 4 year of experience)
• Knowledge and working experience with developing APIs (RESTful, SOAP, JSON or XML)
• Technical proficiency of web application security
• Understanding of infosec
• Knowledge of GIT version control
• Experience working with GitLab or GitHub
• Nice to have, experience working with React and CSS
• Knowledge of PHP modular design using Composer
• MySQL design, development and administration, notably using Doctrine
