Flutter Developer

Work from home, UK client, Minimum 6 Month Contractual, Flutter Developer position

This role is for a substantial, fast-growing and well respected UK Cloud Based Tech company who has hired us to exclusively recruit for them. It is a Work From Home position and everyday youll be working directly as part of their UK team. It is a senior role with real opportunities to learn and develop.

The firm we are representing specializes in cloud-based digital platforms for field service management. They are well known for investing significantly into their staff - this will be a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop new skills.

They are looking to make a hire for a minimum 6 months Contractual position.

Location: Remote Work from Home in India

Minimum Experience: 5+ years in software development, with at least 3+ years in Flutter and Dart

Shift Timings: 12 pm - 9:30 pm (Summer), 1 pm - 10:30 pm (Winter)

Roles and responsibilities

Application Development

• Develop and maintain a cross-platform mobile and web application using Flutter.
• Implement core features such as login/session management, data synchronization, navigation, and user interface elements.

Offline-First Functionality

• Build a robust DataSync object to manage offline storage and synchronization with online servers.
• Ensure seamless offline and online experiences for users.

Custom Components Development

• Design and implement custom UI components like job cards, customer pages, and tables based on JSON configurations.
• Create forms and fields tailored for specific jobs, including input types like signature capture and calculations.

Code Optimization and Testing

• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code adhering to best practices.
• Conduct thorough testing for offline/online transitions, UI responsiveness, and platform-specific features.

Collaboration and Documentation

• Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow.
• Provide technical documentation for the developed features and processes.

Essential skills and experience

Flutter Development (3+ years)

• Expertise in developing cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter.

Dart Programming (3+ years)

• Proficiency in Dart for creating responsive and performant applications.

Offline-First Architecture (2+ years)

• Experience implementing offline-first systems with local databases (e.g., SQLite).

RESTful APIs Integration (3+ years)

• Strong skills in API integration and handling JSON data structures.

Background Services Development (2+ years)

• Knowledge of background services for location tracking and notifications.

Cross-Platform Development

• Proven ability to deliver high-quality mobile applications across Android, iOS, and web platforms.

Offline/Online Synchronization

• Demonstrated experience building robust offline-first applications with reliable sync mechanisms.
