Production Manager (Nutraceutical Manufacturing Plant)

Role Overview:
The Production Manager will oversee the entire production process at the nutraceutical manufacturing plant, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards. The role involves managing production teams, optimizing processes, and meeting production targets within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand forecasts and delivery timelines.
2. Process Optimization: Monitor and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize waste.
3. Team Management: Lead, train, and supervise production staff to ensure optimal performance and compliance with SOPs.
4. Quality Control: Ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements, coordinating with the QC team.
5. Compliance: Ensure adherence to GMP, FSSAI, and other relevant regulatory standards.
6. Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the proper functioning, calibration, and maintenance of production equipment.
7. Inventory Management: Coordinate with the purchase and warehouse teams to ensure the availability of raw materials and packaging materials.
8. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, batch reports, and other regulatory documents.
9. Problem Resolution: Address and resolve production issues, deviations, and inefficiencies promptly.
10. Health & Safety: Implement and enforce workplace safety standards and practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's/Master's in Food Technology, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or related field.
• 5+ years of production management experience in nutraceuticals, pharma, or food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, FSSAI, and HACCP guidelines.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in production planning and management tools.
