Plant Manager (Medical Device)

Role & Responsibilities:

• Ideate and implement strategic improvements for production, quality, and labor utilization.
• Provide leadership to ensure effective utilization of plant personnel and equipment.
• Collaborate across departments to drive continuous improvement.
• Implement innovative manufacturing processes to reduce costs and enhance product quality.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles to design world-class manufacturing processes.
• Oversee manufacturing operations, including production, machinery, and packaging.
• Ensure production schedules align with facility capabilities and customer requirements.
• Manage material replenishment, quality standards, and performance metrics.
• Control operational expenses and explore cost-reduction opportunities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and operational records.

Objectives of this role:

• Plan and implement strategic improvements for production, quality, and labor utilization throughout the facility.
• Provide leadership to ensure effective utilization of plant personnel and equipment.
• Collaborate with functional departments in the implementation of improvements.
• Investigate and implement innovative manufacturing processes to reduce costs and improve product quality.
• Responsible for QMS implementation, Regulatory Compliance, conducting internal audits and ensure smooth flow during external regulatory and client audits.
• Ensure progress in all departments starting from R&D to Production along with HR and Accounting departments performance review.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• 5+ years of experience in plant operations or engineering.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Proven understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
