Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cyber Security Manager with over 15 years of expertise in managing and leading security functions across diverse areas, including vulnerability management, threat hunting, incident response, infrastructure and cloud security. The ideal candidate should have a robust technical foundation with at least 8 years of hands-on experience in areas like penetration testing, incident management, or related cybersecurity functions.

This role is pivotal in safeguarding our organizations cyber resilience by ensuring seamless coordination across internal teams and maintaining a comprehensive set of operational documentation, such as SOPs and runbooks. The Cyber Security Manager will work closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and leadership to manage security strategies, conduct regular meetings, prepare management dashboards, and ensure the professional growth and training of the cybersecurity team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of professionals handling incident response, threat hunting, infrastructure and cloud security, and vulnerability management.
• Ensure all required documentation, including SOPs, runbooks, and policies, are developed, updated, and effectively implemented.
• Conduct regular daily, weekly, and monthly meetings with customers and their management to review cybersecurity posture and ongoing initiatives.
• Develop skill enhancement plans for the existing team and arrange appropriate training programs to bridge knowledge gaps.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and management of vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Leverage SOC/SIEM and VAPT tools like Veracode, Nessus, Nmap, Burp Suite, Qualys, and Defender to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Manage and monitor advanced security platforms, including Armis, Cygonito, and Flashpoint, to ensure robust threat detection and response.
• Coordinate incident response activities, investigate security breaches, and implement mitigation strategies to prevent recurrence.
• Prepare and present detailed management dashboards and actionable reports on security findings, trends, and improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align security measures with business goals.
• Engage in presales activities (RFP/RFI), actively contributing to the development of technical solutions as part of the response process.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Define and implement long-term security strategies and best practices.
• Stay updated on the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and industry standards to enhance the organizations defences.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 15+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity roles, with a focus on incident response, vulnerability management, and managing security operations.
• At least 8 years of hands-on experience in penetration testing or incident management.
• Strong expertise with tools such as Veracode, Nessus, Nmap, Burp Suite, Qualys, Microsoft Sentinel, and Defender.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards like OWASP, ISO 27001, and NIST.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver results in fast-paced, complex environments.
• Excellent in Microsoft Office Tools (PowerPoint, excel, word)
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure

Preferred Skills

• Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or GIAC.
• Proficiency in cloud security and DevSecOps methodologies.
• Experience in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell to automate security workflows.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks like GDPR and HIPAA.
