Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis - FMCG/Online (5-8 yrs)

Manager FP&A

Financial planning:

- Develop and maintain complex financial models for annual and long-term forecasts for various business units

- Collaborate with business/ functional teams to align financial plans with business objectives

- Monitor financial performance against budgets and recommend corrective actions

Analysis:

- Perform in-depth analysis of current and past trends in key performance indicators, including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures

- Identify and analyse variances to forecasts and historical data, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement

- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial performance

- Provide actionable insights to drive operational efficiencies and improve profitability

Reporting:

- Identify key metrics and develop management dashboards to evaluate business performance, and ensure alignment with strategic goals

- Ensure accuracy in financial and business reporting

- Create detailed reports for senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities

- Leverage project management skills to prioritize report development activities

Strategic Support:

- Evaluate potential business opportunities, including financial modelling and scenario planning to support decision-making

- Create presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made

- Support in due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships
