Position Title: Financial Planning & Reporting Manager
Experience : 5+ years in FP&A

Reports To: CFO
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning & Reporting Manager with a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification and over 5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. The role will primarily focus on closing processes, reporting, financial planning, and providing strategic insights to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting and Closing:
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial controls during the closing process.
2. Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
- Provide variance analysis and commentary on financial performance versus budget, prior periods, and forecasts.
- Support the CFO in financial decision-making by providing insights into business performance, trends, and projections.
3. Management Reporting:
- Prepare and present regular management reports highlighting financial performance, key business metrics, and forecasts.
- Develop customized financial reports for senior management to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
- Drive performance analysis and suggest actions to improve financial outcomes based on data-driven insights.
4. Business Partnering:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (operations, sales, marketing, etc.) to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- Assist in financial modeling for new business initiatives, investments, or capital projects.
- Collaborate with business leaders to refine financial strategies and operational plans.
5. Continuous Improvement and Automation:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains in the FP&A function.
- Work on automating routine financial reporting tasks using Excel, ERP systems, and financial modeling tools.
6. Compliance and Internal Controls:
- Ensure all financial planning and reporting processes comply with corporate policies and local regulations.
- Support audits and ensure accurate documentation and support for financial statements.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Educational Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in FP&A, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and familiarity with ERP systems.
- Financial Reporting Expertise: Strong understanding of financial closing processes, P&L statements, and management reporting.
