Job Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for partnering with South Asia Sales business leaders for all aspects regarding financial planning and technology-driven analytical support for decision making.
Let's talk about Responsibilities
FP&A
- Drive the budgeting and forecasting process for South Asia business
- Generate monthly P&Ls for all channels (B4B, D2C and consolidated), review variance analysis with business partners and drive SG&A efficiencies.
- Analytical support for strategic decisions and promotional offers, monitor performance and evaluate results.
- Financial modelling for new business initiatives including new pathways, product launches and M&A
- Development and preparation of management reports/presentations for Sales Heads and front-line managers.
Business Partnership:
- Be a trusted business partner with the ability to challenge and influence sales leadership's decisions, while building business relationships.
- Able to initiate, influence and drive sales business strategic conversation; contribute in building B4B sales business models, D2C and e-commerce business offerings etc.
- Understand key business levers to support both off-line and on-line business initiatives, provide insights that drive decision and outcome. Understand channel conflict and able to navigate through appropriately.
- Work with Finance team to ensure month end closing and reporting adhere to compliance and regulatory requirements.
Systems:
- Ensure the ERP and web platform systems fully support business processes and assist with the implementation of changes and improvements to these software systems.
- Use technology to monitor the key metrics and operations of all Sales channels.
- Continuously drive process improvement to translate business needs to operational steps and system processes.
Let's talk about Qualifications and Experience:
- MBA from First Class B school or CA qualified
- Deep knowledge in B4B and D2C space, understand the key levers that drive both B4B and D2C business growth; Understand how to support business growth with analysis on customer behaviour and LTV..
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar FP&A role with good revenue reporting knowledge
- Proficient in data gathering from cloud through SQL, BI tools (E.g TM1, Cognos) and budgeting systems (E.g Anaplan).
- Experience in top ERP systems (Eg. Oracle) and data visualization (Tableau, Power BI, etc)
- Innovated, dynamic, mature, influential with high attention to detail, and ability to foster trust with all business functions.
Preferred (Qualifications/experiences that are preferred for the position)
- Prefer to have worked in a fast-paced, complex, global and dynamic environment
- Project and system implementation experience, exposure to M&A deals will be a bonus
