Job Title: Portfolio Executive

Overview of Job Role:


- To support and assist in the day to day management and growth of the Global Knowledge portfolio and to enable our Sales teams to respond quickly, maximising the customer opportunity as efficiently and effectively as possible. A Portfolio Executive will develop a strong working relationship with our Vendors, Partners and Suppliers and ensure that Global Knowledge systems accurately reflect the portfolio we are taking to market.


Key Areas of Responsibility:


- P&L management. To be aware of the financial aspects that affect the profitability of the portfolio and to assist in the management of these variables.


- Portfolio management, new course introduction and courseware development. To work closely with Portfolio leads, Sales and Marketing, Operations and Finance to successfully onboard new learning offerings.


- Price list setting and bid pricing. To be aware of competitive market pricing and to recommend any changes to pricing policy, ensuring Global Knowledge remains both competitive and profitable.


- Fill Rate and scheduling decisions. To make recommendations on the management of course schedules so as to maximise revenue, fill rate and profitability in consultation with Operations and Resourcing Management.


- Market and competitor analysis. To continually monitor and analyse the activities of our competitors not only to provide us with a benchmark but to ensure we can react quickly to any promotions etc. which may have an impact on our business.


- Sales support. To provide regular support to the Sales team and to help in the production of sales collateral and the maintenance of sales communication tools.


- Business planning and strategic direction. To provide feedback to the portfolio leads to help in the production of business plans and strategic goals.


- Vendor relationship management and partner/supplier management. To develop an effective working relationship with key contacts at our Vendors, Partners and suppliers. Ensure processes are clearly documented and readily available for review within the business.


- Marketing and promotional initiatives. To work with the Sales teams to ensure they are aware of the latest promotions and have easy access to available collateral.


- Web site content. To work closely with the Marketing team to ensure Global Knowledges website provides accurate information on the relevant vendors products, promotions and programs.


- Pre-Sales Solutions.


- To support the Sales teams with non-standard learning requirements.


- This is not intended to be a full description of duties and you will be expected to assist in such duties as may be required.


Experience / Qualifications Required:


Desirable:


- The Portfolio Executive will ideally have had previous experience working within an internal sales team.
