Director - Inventory Control - Logistics (7-10 yrs)

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels.

- Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to identify discrepancies and address any issues promptly.

- Implement and oversee inventory control procedures to minimize errors and enhance accuracy.

System Integration:

- Collaborate with the IT team to integrate and optimize inventory management systems.

- Ensure seamless communication between various departments and systems for real-time updates on inventory movements.

Team Collaboration:

- Work closely with the warehouse team to coordinate receiving, storage, and shipping activities.

- Provide training and support to team members to ensure adherence to inventory control procedures.

Supplier Relations:

- Collaborate with suppliers to optimize order processes and maintain accurate lead times.

- Address any issues related to inventory discrepancies or delivery delays.

Reporting and Analysis:

- Generate regular reports on inventory performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

- Utilize data analysis to make informed recommendations for inventory optimization.

Process Improvement:

- Continuously evaluate and enhance inventory management processes to increase eciency.

- Implement best practices to streamline workflows and reduce lead times. Qualifications &

Experience:

- Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.

- Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a warehousing or logistics environment.

- Minimum 7+ years of experience in inventory management.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams across multiple locations.
