Job Description
SAP FICO- Lead Consultant JD:
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee SAP FICO projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful delivery within scope, timeline constraints.
- Provide expert guidance and support to project teams, offering technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements, analyze processes, and design SAP FICO solutions that meet business needs.
- Configure, customize, and optimize SAP FICO modules to align with business requirements and industry standards.
- Drive the implementation of the Document Split process within SAP FICO, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and internal policies.
- Perform system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate the functionality and performance of SAP FICO solutions.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs and documentation to end-users, enabling smooth transition and adoption of new SAP FICO functionalities.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP FICO systems, resolving issues and addressing user queries in a timely manner.
- Stay abreast of SAP FICO trends, updates, and innovations, evaluating their potential impact on existing systems and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, IT, and Business Operations, to drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance overall business performance.
- Lead SAP FICO Month End Activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5
- years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO implementation, configuration, and support.
- Expertise in S4 Hana and its submodules, including AP, AR, and GL etc.
- Proven experience in implementing the Document Split process within SAP FICO.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully leading SAP FICO projects and driving cross-functional teams.
- SAP FICO certification(s) preferred.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance (formerly SAP Simple Finance) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
