Job Description :

Lead the design and development of SAP cloud solutions utilizing SAP BTP tools and technologies to develop, deploy, and manage SAP applications.

Collaborate with customers, cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Act as a subject matter expert in SAP BTP technical architecture, providing guidance and best practices for the development team.

Coordinate with team members, customers, manage tasks, and deliverables, and anchor team development activities.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP BTP developments.

Basic Qualifications :

Must Have- s

- Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 15 years of experience in SAP Implementations, with at least 8 years focused on SAP BTP Implementations.

- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and drive business development initiatives.

- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP services and tools (for example, SAP HANA Cloud, Build Workzone, Launchpad/Portal service, Mobile Services, Business Application Studio)

Mandatory Skills:

- SAP BTP CAP (Cloud Application Programming) with NodeJS.

- Python programming (preferrable Django or similar framework experience).

- Development using tools such SAP BTP BAS and/or WebIDE.

- API management (GET/PUT etc.).

- Understanding of SAP BTP Security and roles.

- Understanding of SAP BTP Destinations management

Core Responsibilities :

Design and Development of SAP Cloud Solutions :

- Lead the design and development of SAP Cloud solutions utilizing SAP BTP tools and technologies such as SAP HANA Cloud, Build Workzone, Launchpad/Portal services, Mobile Services, and Business Application Studio.

- Develop, deploy, and manage SAP applications within the SAP BTP ecosystem, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using SAP BTP services.

- Leadership and Mentoring:

- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in SAP BTP technical architecture, providing guidance to development teams, and ensuring adherence to best practices.

- Lead a team of developers and engineers, coordinate team activities, and manage deliverables to meet deadlines and project milestones.

- Provide mentorship and training to junior developers on SAP BTP tools, programming languages (NodeJS, Python), and development methodologies.

- Coordinate with clients to manage expectations, address concerns, and ensure timely delivery of technical solutions.

Client Relationship and Business Development:

- Manage client relationships, understanding business needs and identifying opportunities for SAP BTP solutions that drive business value.

- Support business development initiatives, including pre-sales, proposal preparation, and presenting SAP BTP capabilities to potential clients.

- Collaborate with customers to gather and define business requirements and align them with technical solutions to drive organizational goals.

Technical Architecture and Solutioning:

- Develop architectural solutions and implement technical best practices in SAP BTP, ensuring that applications are optimized for the cloud environment.

- Design, implement, and manage SAP BTP services such as SAP HANA Cloud, API management, Mobile Services, and WebIDE, among others, to enhance functionality and user experience.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP BTP developments, ensuring high availability and performance for cloud applications.

API Management and Integration:

- Manage and implement API management strategies for SAP BTP, including GET/PUT methods for integrating applications and services.

- Oversee API lifecycle management, ensuring that API calls between applications and external systems are secure, efficient, and scalable.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of APIs and other services across the SAP BTP landscape.

Security and Access Control:

- Ensure the security of SAP BTP applications, managing user access, roles, and permissions in line with best practices.

- Implement security measures to protect applications, data, and services within the SAP BTP ecosystem.

- Work with SAP BTP security and role management to define user access protocols and integrate with enterprise identity management solutions.

SAP BTP Destinations Management :

- Manage SAP BTP destinations, configuring and maintaining connections between SAP BTP applications and external systems or services.

- Ensure correct routing of data to destinations, optimize configurations, and maintain destination management throughout the project lifecycle.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Communication :

- Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure that project goals and timelines are met.

- Collaborate with business teams, functional consultants, and technical teams to ensure the successful delivery of SAP BTP solutions.

- Prepare detailed documentation for solutions, configurations, and codebases for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution :

- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP BTP applications, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

- Assist in debugging and fixing issues encountered by the development team during testing and deployment.
