Job Description :
- Onsite Desktop Support Engineer
- 2-3 years of relevant exp.
Location : Chittor/AP
- Experience in working in a process-led organization as a desktop support engineer
- Hands on experience in hardware troubleshooting relating to Wintel desktops, laptops, printers, scanners and other peripherals
- Hands on experience in troubleshooting Windows OS, Office applications and other end user applications. Experience In Outlook Configurations.
- Working knowledge of ITIL processes.
- Experience for at least 1 year with an industry leading ITSM tool
- Good communication skills and ability to converse fluently in English and Hindi
- Diploma/ BA/ BS/ BE full-time degree in computer science, computer engineering, electronics or related field
- Certifications in Microsoft, Linux or Networking technologies (optional)
Required Skills and Experience :
Experience :
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, particularly in a process-driven or corporate environment.
- Experience with troubleshooting and supporting desktops, laptops, peripherals (printers, scanners), and software applications (Windows OS, Office apps, etc.).
Technical Skills :
- Hands-on experience with Windows OS troubleshooting (installation, updates, drivers, etc.).
- Expertise in supporting Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and configuring Outlook.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN, Wi-Fi, etc.) and experience with hardware configurations and troubleshooting.
- Experience with ITIL processes and familiarity with ITSM tools for service management (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy).
Communication Skills :
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Ability to explain technical issues in a simple and understandable manner to non-technical end users.
Qualifications :
- Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or related fields OR a Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BE) in a relevant technical discipline.
Certifications (optional but preferred) :
- Certifications in Microsoft, Linux, or Networking technologies (e.g., MCSA, CompTIA A+ or Network+).
- ITIL certification or any relevant certifications in IT support.
