Job Description:
King Fahad Military Medical Complex is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse or Research Coordinator for the Academic Affairs Training department. This role requires a highly motivated individual to support research activities, clinical trials, and training initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator, with a strong understanding of research protocols, patient care, and hospital operations. The position mandates compliance with Dataflow and Prometric requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage clinical research studies, ensuring compliance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.
Assist in designing and implementing research protocols, case report forms, and clinical trial documentation.
Recruit, enroll, and monitor patients/participants for clinical trials, ensuring informed consent is obtained.
Provide nursing care support to research participants, ensuring patient safety and monitoring during the study.
Review and maintain accurate patient data and ensure timely submission of clinical research reports.
Support academic training programs and workshops for medical staff, promoting ongoing professional development.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth operation of research activities and training initiatives.
Ensure the integrity of the clinical data through rigorous data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Maintain communication with sponsors, regulatory bodies, and ethical committees regarding ongoing research activities.
Qualifications:
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor s Degree in Nursing or related field.
Certification as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Saudi Arabia.
Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) certification or equivalent is preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator in a healthcare setting.
Experience in managing clinical trials, patient recruitment, and regulatory compliance is essential.
Skills Competencies:
Strong knowledge of clinical research methodologies, GCP (Good Clinical Practice), and regulatory guidelines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, healthcare teams, and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in medical documentation and data management.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Mandatory Requirements:
Dataflow Verification and Prometric certification.
Valid professional license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Saudi Arabia.
Familiarity with hospital policies and procedures, particularly related to research and patient safety.
