Gas Detection Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Strategy & Execution:
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for Draeger gas detection systems.
• Identify and nurture leads to convert them into long-term customers.
• Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers in industries such as oil & gas, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing.
• Provide expert consultation to clients on gas detection solutions tailored to their safety requirements.
• Technical Expertise:
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Draeger gas detection systems and related technologies.
• Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and training sessions for clients.
• Offer pre-sales and post-sales technical support to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Market Analysis:
• Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and advancements in gas detection technologies.
• Identify new market opportunities and recommend solutions to expand business.
• Team Collaboration:
• Coordinate with internal teams, including service engineers and operations, to deliver seamless customer experiences.
• Work closely with Draeger representatives to stay aligned with product updates and marketing strategies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education:
• Bachelors degree in Engineering, preferably in Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales of gas detection or safety equipment. Experience with Draeger products is a significant advantage.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Strong understanding of gas detection principles, safety standards, and industrial applications.
• Familiarity with Draeger systems and their applications in various industries.
• Skills:
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate technical details into practical solutions for clients.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
• Other Attributes:
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Willingness to travel extensively to meet clients and attend industry events.
