Operations HEAD

Role & responsibilities :

• Manage day-to-day operations of ports, including cargo handling, marine operations, logistics operations, shipping, and supply chain management.
• Oversee vessel operations from berthing to departure to ensure smooth porting processes.
• Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., terminal operators) and external stakeholders (e.g., ship owners, customs authorities).
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all port operations.
• Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in port efficiency.

Job Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree required; relevant certifications an asset (e.g., ISPS Code Certificate).
• Strong understanding of cargo handling procedures at various types of ports (containerized cargo, bulk cargo).
