Sr Executive/Assistant Manager, Customer Service and Operations Pune

Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and customer-orientated individual to join our team as a Customer Service and Operations. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring smooth operations, timely deliveries, and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with clients to understand their shipping and logistics requirements.
• Manage end-to-end shipment processes, including booking, documentation, and tracking.
• Collaborate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Handle customer queries, provide updates on shipment status, and resolve issues promptly.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists.
• Monitor shipments to ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company standards.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, expenses, and customer communications.
• Support the sales team with quotations and operational feedback.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficient workflows.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in logistics, or a related field.
• 5 - 8 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a similar industry.
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding operations CHA (import/export, air/sea freight).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and logistics software (e.g., Logisys).
• Knowledge of customs regulations and documentation is a plus.
