Job Description:
Position Overview:
The Design Engineer will be responsible for understanding and applying IEC standards, studying mechanical and electrical handbooks, and creating and managing component drawings. The role involves document control, drafting, and detailed drawing preparation to support the development of innovative and high-performance electrical switches.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Standards and Research:
• Study and interpret IEC standards related to low voltage electrical switches.
• Research and apply relevant mechanical and electrical principles from technical handbooks.
2. Design and Drafting: (optional skill)
• Know how related to 2D and 3D components and assembly drawings using CAD software.
• Ensure designs meet market demands and adhere to quality standards.
3. Documentation and Control:
• Manage and control all design-related documents, including standards, drawings, and specifications.
• Maintain accurate records for revisions and ensure version control compliance.
4. Product Development Support:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and quality, to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet performance criteria.
• Contribute to the development and testing of prototypes based on design outputs.
5. Continuous Improvement:
• Suggest design optimizations to improve product performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new standards, and emerging technologies in the field of electrical switch design.

• Technical Skills:
• Know how of CAD related software (AutoCAD, CATIA, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Strong understanding of IEC standards and their application in product design.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles and ability to interpret technical handbooks.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
