Role & responsibilities
1. Strategic Partnerships Development:
○ Identify, negotiate, and onboard strategic partners across global marketplaces such as
Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Walmart, and others.
○ Establish relationships with government agencies like FIEO, DGFT, and other regulatory bodies
to create opportunities for exporters.
○ Collaborate with service providers such as Payoneer, PingPong, and payment/fintech platforms
that support eCommerce exporters.
2. Partner & Channel Marketing:
○ Develop and execute joint GTM (Go-To-Market) strategies with partners to boost brand visibility
and market penetration.
○ Plan and execute joint marketing campaigns, webinars, and co-branded content initiatives to
attract eCommerce sellers.
○ Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless partner onboarding and engagement.
3. Event Management & Networking:
○ Drive co-hosted events, trade shows, roundtables, and digital summits to position ShipGlobal
as a preferred logistics partner.
○ Represent ShipGlobal in industry conferences and forums, building credibility and fostering
long-term partnerships.
○ Organize educational and networking sessions for exporters in collaboration with partners.
4. Revenue & Growth Focus:
○ Identify revenue-generating opportunities through strategic alliances.
○ Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align partnership initiatives with business
objectives.
○ Track and analyze partnership performance to optimize future strategies.
5. Collaboration & Relationship Management:
○ Act as a key point of contact for all partnership-
related activities.
○ Foster long-term relationships with partners, ensuring mutual success and growth. ○ Stay
updated with industry trends and competitors to identify potential collaborations.
Preferred candidate profile
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, alliances, or business development in the eCommerce, logistics, or fintech sectors.
● Strong understanding of marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Walmart, and regulatory
frameworks such as FIEO and DGFT.
● Proven track record of building and managing strategic partnerships that drive business
growth.
● Excellent negotiation and communication skills with a knack for relationship-building.
● Experience in partner marketing, joint GTM strategies, and event planning.
● Analytical mindset with the ability to track performance and optimize partnership strategies.
● Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
