Software Engineer II - Java Technologies (2-3 yrs)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer II to join our growing integration team.

This role is crucial in building and enhancing our Java-based API platform, which powers key aspects of our business.

The ideal candidate is a full-stack Java developer with a strong understanding of cloud technologies, preferably AWS, and excellent communication skills.

Location : Bangalore is preferred.

We will also consider Gurgaon (hybrid) and Chennai (hybrid, 2 days onsite).

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Java-based APIs using Spring Boot.

- Integrate our systems with various internal and external services.

- Work with Redshift and Oracle databases.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our development processes.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our platform and infrastructure.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Java development.

- A fundamental understanding of APIs is not sufficient; practical, project-oriented experience is essential.

- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot framework.

- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, including hosting and deploying APIs.

- Familiarity with other cloud platforms is a plus.

- Experience with database technologies, particularly Redshift and Oracle.

- Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

- This is a critical requirement for this role.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with other AWS services.

- Knowledge of API design principles and best practices.

- Experience with microservices architecture.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

- Experience with testing frameworks (e. , JUnit, Mockito)
