We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic QA team.

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, collaborating closely with development and QA teams, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our software testing processes.

This role requires a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, proficiency in automation tools and frameworks, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Responsibilities :

- Test Automation Development : Design, develop, and maintain robust and reliable automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks (e., Selenium, Cypress, Appium, etc.

- Test Planning and Execution : Contribute to the creation of comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies, ensuring adequate coverage of application features and functionalities.

- Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report defects.

- Framework Development and Maintenance : Contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and reusability.

- Defect Management : Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems.

- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.

- Collaboration and Communication : Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, provide feedback, and ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Communicate effectively with globally dispersed team members.

- Continuous Improvement : Proactively identify opportunities to improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing trends and technologies.

- CI/CD Integration : Integrate automated tests into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline using tools like Jenkins, Git, and Docker.

- API Testing (Preferred) : Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured is a plus.

- Performance Testing (Preferred) : Knowledge of performance testing tools like LoadRunner or JMeter is a plus.

- Version Control : Utilize version control systems like Git for code management and collaboration.

- Agile Environment : Work effectively within an Agile team environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Quality Assurance : Ensure high-quality delivery through rigorous test automation and execution.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation.

- Proven proficiency in test automation tools (e., Selenium, Cypress, Appium).

- Strong programming/scripting skills in at least one of the following languages : Java, Python, JavaScript.

- Solid understanding of test automation frameworks (e., TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber).

- Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices (e., Jenkins, Git, Docker).

- Experience working in an Agile team environment.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Skills and Experience :

- Experience with API testing tools (e., Postman, Rest Assured).
