Senior Test Engineer - Appium/Selenium (4-6 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in software development, testing methodologies, and automation frameworks.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-quality software solutions.

The role also involves :

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and API applications.

- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring they are resolved efficiently.

- Work closely with developers and product teams to understand requirements and create test strategies.

- Design and implement test automation frameworks to optimize regression testing.

- Perform functional, usability, performance, and cross-browser testing.

- Conduct testing across different real devices (Android, iOS, tablets, desktops) to ensure cross-device compatibility.

- Collaborate in Agile/Scrum development environments and participate in sprint planning.

- Continuously improve testing processes and advocate best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 4 to 6 years of experience in software testing.

- Strong knowledge of manual testing techniques and software QA methodologies.

- Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, or Playwright.

- Experience in API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.

- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.

- Familiarity with performance testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in cloud-based testing (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Knowledge of security testing fundamentals.

- ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus
