Job Description :
We are looking for a skilled Kubernetes Administrator to join our DevOps team.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in managing Kubernetes clusters and will have strong hands-on expertise in kubeadm, kubespray, Ansible, ArgoCD, Spinnaker, and the ELK stack.
As a Kubernetes Administrator, you will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, management, and scaling of Kubernetes clusters in production environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters using kubeadm, kubespray, and Ansible.
- Work on the configuration, management, and monitoring of Kubernetes clusters across multiple environments (e., dev, staging, production).
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of Kubernetes environments.
- Perform regular upgrades, patching, and maintenance tasks to ensure cluster health and performance.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like ArgoCD, Spinnaker, and integrate with other DevOps tools.
- Manage Helm charts and perform package management for Kubernetes-based applications.
- Work closely with development teams to understand application deployment requirements and translate them into robust infrastructure solutions.
- Configure, deploy, and manage logging and monitoring solutions using the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
- Troubleshoot cluster issues and optimize performance.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and configuration using Ansible and other automation tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement container orchestration and microservices architecture.
- Develop and enforce best practices for security, scalability, and disaster recovery in Kubernetes environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in managing and administering Kubernetes clusters in a production environment.
- Strong experience with kubeadm and kubespray for cluster setup and management.
- Experience in managing Kubernetes configurations and deployments using Helm.
- Proficient in automation and infrastructure-as-code using Ansible.
- Hands-on experience with ArgoCD and Spinnaker for CI/CD pipeline implementation.
- Experience in setting up and maintaining the ELK stack for centralized logging, monitoring, and analysis.
- Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration principles (e., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of networking, storage, and security in Kubernetes clusters.
- Familiar with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug Kubernetes issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Bonus : Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Jaeger.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with multi-cluster and hybrid-cloud Kubernetes environments.
- Familiarity with microservices architectures and service mesh technologies such as Istio.
- Experience with GitOps workflows.
- Knowledge of security practices for Kubernetes and containerized environments.
