Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Kubernetes and DevSecOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and DevSecOps practices, coupled with solid programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.

Proficiency with REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools like Kibana and Grafana is essential.

This role involves driving automation, ensuring security in the software lifecycle, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Kubernetes and Docker Management :

- Design, deploy, and maintain containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.

- Optimize Kubernetes clusters, Pods, and container orchestration for high availability and scalability.

- Manage Kubernetes ConfigMaps, Secrets, PersistentVolumes, and Ingress controllers.

DevSecOps Practices :

- Implement security best practices in CI/CD pipelines, including automated vulnerability scans, code analysis, and compliance checks.

- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools for secure, reproducible deployments.

- Ensure the security of APIs, containers, and cloud-native workloads by implementing tools like Aqua, Falco, or Sysdig.

Networking and Security :

- Configure and troubleshoot networking components, including DNS, NAT, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, and Load Balancers.

- Implement Kubernetes Network Policies for secure communication between Pods.

- Design and secure API integrations with proper authentication (OAuth, API keys) and encryption.

CI/CD Pipeline Development :

- Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

- Automate deployment workflows to improve delivery efficiency and reliability.

Monitoring and Observability :

- Set up robust monitoring and alerting solutions using Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana, or ElasticSearch.

- Create custom dashboards and visualizations for performance metrics and logs.

- Ensure systems are observable, with proper logging, tracing, and metrics collection.

Scripting and Automation :

- Automate infrastructure tasks and deployments using Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.

- Write scripts to monitor system health, handle backups, and manage maintenance tasks.

Collaboration and Problem-Solving :

- Work closely with development teams to integrate security throughout the SDLC.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance, container orchestration, and security vulnerabilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Strong experience with Kubernetes (architecture, Pods, Deployments, ConfigMaps) and Docker.

- Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles and tools (e.g, Aqua, Falco, SonarQube).

- Expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

- Advanced knowledge of networking protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, NAT).

- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript for scripting and development.

- Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, or ElasticSearch.

Additional Skills :

- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.

- Knowledge of secure coding practices and compliance frameworks.

- Experience with container runtime security tools (e.g, Sysdig, Aqua).

- Strong knowledge of Linux system administration and automation.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities in team environments.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with microservices and cloud-native architectures.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Knowledge of API gateway and service mesh solutions (e.g, Istio, Envoy).

- Hands-on experience with GitOps workflows using ArgoCD or FluxCD.
