Job Description

The Head of Amazon Platform Business Growth will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to enhance our presence and sales on Amazon. This role requires a deep understanding of Amazons ecosystem, including vendor and seller dynamics, digital marketing, and e-commerce trends. You will lead a team to optimize product listings, manage advertising budgets, and increase overall brand visibility and sales on the platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive business growth strategies for Amazon that align with the company's overall goals.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities on the Amazon platform.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of e-commerce specialists, marketers, and analysts to achieve growth targets.
  • Performance Optimization: Oversee the optimization of product listings, ensuring high visibility and conversion rates through best practices in SEO, content, and imagery.
  • Advertising Strategy: Manage and optimize Amazon Advertising campaigns, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and display ads to drive traffic and sales.
  • Partnership Development: Build and maintain relationships with Amazon account managers and internal stakeholders to enhance collaboration and performance.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting tools to track and analyze business performance on Amazon.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the e-commerce budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to drive maximum ROI.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or business development, with a focus on Amazon platform growth.
  • Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth on Amazon or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central, as well as tools like Jungle Scout, Helium 10, or similar.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
