Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and manage the BDE team to achieve sales and business development goals.
    • Monitor performance, provide feedback, and ensure the team meets KPIs and revenue targets.
  2. Lead Generation and Client Engagement:
    • Research and identify potential clients, markets, and partnerships aligned with strategic goals.
    • Oversee lead generation efforts, including networking, cold calling, and follow-ups on marketing-generated leads.
    • Visit clients to build relationships, understand their needs, and offer tailored solutions.
  3. Market and Competitive Analysis:
    • Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
    • Use insights to refine strategies and gain a competitive advantage in the FMCG sector.
  4. Business Growth Strategies:
    • Collaborate with senior management to create and execute comprehensive business development plans.
    • Develop strategic plans for revenue growth and profitability, based on financial and market analysis.
  5. Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align efforts and maximize opportunities.
    • Ensure smooth client onboarding and delivery by coordinating with internal teams.
  6. Sales Negotiation and Deal Closing:
    • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients, ensuring mutual benefit and company profitability.
    • Close deals and oversee the seamless transition of clients to operations or account management.
  7. Reporting and Analytics:
    • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and follow-ups using CRM tools.
    • Provide regular reports on business development activities, market conditions, and competitor analysis to senior management.
    • Track sales performance and recommend actionable strategies to achieve targets.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Any graduate
  • Experience: 3-5+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or related fields, preferably in the FMCG sector.
  • Skills:
    • Strong networking, communication, and negotiation abilities.
    • Ability to develop and execute strategic business plans to deliver growth.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and managing a sales pipeline.
  • Preferred Skills:
    • Knowledge of FMCG operations and B2B sales.
