Business Development

Role & responsibilities

• Identify potential clients, prospects, create and close new business opportunities in line with the strategic direction of the company 
• Build and maintain strong client relationships by effectively initiating and handling communications 
• Deliver sales results through exceptional client engagement, fast turnaround times
• Build and grow in-depth knowledge of SGAs services 
• Identify the needs, buying intent, and motivations of clients and offer relevant competitive services accordingly 
• Maintain and improve reporting rigor and database hygiene 
• Set goals for self and keep check on a weekly basis while working to achieve and exceed these goals 
• Build and maintain a highly repeatable and referral customer base

Preferred candidate profile

• Should have academic background and good knowledge of sales and Business Development.
• Previous sales experience in research, with the ability to achieve high conversion rates 
• Build subject matter knowledge and make confident recommendations to clients 
• Demonstrate ability to build strong relationships 
• Driven and motivated by sales targets to achieve sales incentives 
• Highly Customer / Client focused 
• Fluent and clear English language skills (written and verbal) 
• Strong influencing and negotiating skills
• Regular communications and alignment with management and delivery team 
• Well Organized, Accountable, Positive Mindset, Flexible, Keen to learn new things
