Senior Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled, self-starter Data Engineer to help us create the next-gen ESG product for global financial markets. We are a team of problem-solvers based in Zurich, Switzerland and Pune, India. We are a purpose-built team with complementary skillsets that can provide accelerated learning to the new team member along with exposure to high-impact projects.

The individual is expected to possess excellent, hands-on expertise in Python scripting, SQL, and Excel automation. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience delivering impactful automation projects and managing them end-to-end with minimal supervision. Proficiency in cloud-based data services (especially AWS) and exposure to Data Science/ML is a strong plus. Any domain knowledge and exposure to sustainability and ESG data is preferred.

Technical: Python, R, SQL, NoSQL, Cloud services (AWS), APIs, Excel (VBA, Macros).

Data Science: Machine Learning, Predictive Modeling, Data Preprocessing, Feature Engineering.

Data Engineering: Data Pipelines, ETL processes, Database Optimization.

Visualization: Tableau, Power BI.

Automation: Process automation, Workflow optimization.

Industry Knowledge (Preferred): Sustainability/ESG data processing.

Candidates should have a strong mix of these technical skills, with an emphasis on data engineering, cloud technologies, and automation, as well as some familiarity with machine learning and visualization.
