Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Control Systems Engineer to focus on the programming and configuration of PLCs, HMIs, and other control system components. The ideal candidate will work under the Control Systems Lead to design, implement, and optimize control logic and user interfaces, ensuring seamless integration and operation of automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and program PLC control logic based on project requirements and specifications.
• Design and configure HMI interfaces for efficient and user-friendly machine control.
• Integrate control systems with other components such as sensors, drives, and actuators.
• Collaborate with the Control Systems Lead to ensure programming aligns with system designs and customer specifications.
• Troubleshoot and debug PLC and HMI programs to resolve issues and improve system performance.
• Test and validate control systems to ensure proper functionality during commissioning and installation.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for all PLC programs, HMI designs, and system configurations.
• Assist in the configuration and integration of communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, EtherNet /IP).
• Provide technical support and training to other engineers or end users as needed.
• Continuously improve programming skills and stay updated on new technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• Proven experience in programming PLCs and designing HMI interfaces (experience with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Beckhoff or similar platforms is a plus).
• Strong understanding of control system components such as PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and drives.
• Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, EtherNet/IP).
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug control systems effectively.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram.
• Good documentation skills, with the ability to create clear technical reports and diagrams.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems quickly.
