Mechanical Design Engineer

Required Skills:

• Excellent knowledge & experience in Solid works /Creo Softwares
• Contributes to design, development and documentation at part /sub-system/system levels.
• Strong knowledge on Plastics Injection Molding, Sheet metal & casting part designs as per manufacturing guidelines, strong knowledge on DFM, DFA is needed.
• Good knowledge on tooling & should have worked with tool developers.
• Good knowledge on engineering drawing practices.
• Perform in-depth mechanical analysis and calculations including tolerance analysis, load and fatigue life analysis, and thermal and heat transfer modelling to ensure consistent performance in safety critical applications.
• Knowledge of standards such as IEC 60601, ANSI and ASTM preferred.
• Desirable Skills:
• Solid Works/CREO Certified professional
• Working knowledge on tooling industry
• Qualification:

Graduation/Post graduation in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Expected Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of experience with hands on CAD experience and familiar with manufacturing processes and practices.
