Mechanical Fixture Design Engineers

SFO Technologies Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated Fixture Design Engineer with 3 to 4 years of experience in the design and development of In-Circuit Test (ICT) fixtures and functional test fixtures for the electronics or test fixture manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the latest CAD software, including SolidWorks, CATIA, and AutoCAD, and possess strong expertise in 3D modeling, 2D drawing, and test fixture development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop In-Circuit Test (ICT) fixtures and functional test fixtures for electronic products.
• Utilize CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, etc.) for 3D modeling and 2D drawing of test fixtures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define fixture requirements and specifications.
• Manage the design and development of test fixtures, ensuring they meet functionality, reliability, and safety standards.
• Work with CNC drilling and milling processes to ensure precision in fixture manufacturing.
• Design and integrate pneumatic and electro-mechanical assembly fixtures.
• Provide technical expertise in fixture design during product development cycles.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in fixture design and manufacturing processes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of test fixtures, focusing on cost efficiency, reliability, and performance.
• Handle project management duties, including coordination, timeline management, and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience:
• 3 to 4 years of experience in designing and developing In-Circuit Test (ICT) fixtures or functional test fixtures.
• Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD) for both 3D modeling and 2D drawings.
• Knowledge of CNC drilling and milling processes.
• Practical experience in designing pneumatic and electro-mechanical assembly fixtures.

Key Skills:

• Strong proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, etc.) for designing and modeling fixtures.
• Expertise in fixture design for electronics testing, including ICT fixtures.
• Knowledge of CNC drilling and milling processes for fixture manufacturing.
• Experience with pneumatic and electro-mechanical systems in fixture design.
• Program management and ability to handle fixture design projects from inception to completion.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for designing functional, innovative fixtures.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality designs.
