Job Description

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Banquet Sales Executive to generate event bookings, manage client relationships, and drive revenue for our banquet services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling event inquiries, converting leads into bookings, and ensuring seamless event coordination with the operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Lead Generation

  • Identify and approach potential clients for weddings, corporate events, social gatherings, and exhibitions.
  • Handle inbound and outbound banquet inquiries via phone, email, and social media.
  • Conduct sales meetings, site visits, and venue walkthroughs for potential clients.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and wedding coordinators.
  • Provide personalized event solutions based on client needs and preferences.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups on leads, negotiations, and contract closures.
  • Handle guest concerns and feedback to ensure a superior client experience.

3. Event Coordination & Execution Support

  • Work closely with the banquet operations, F&B, and décor teams to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Assist in preparing event contracts, proposals, and banquet function sheets (BEOs).
  • Coordinate with vendors and partners for catering, entertainment, and special arrangements.

4. Marketing & Promotions

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop seasonal promotions and banquet offers.
  • Leverage social media, WhatsApp, and email campaigns to engage with potential clients.
  • Attend industry events, wedding expos, and corporate networking meetups to generate leads.

5. Reports & Market Analysis

  • Maintain and update the CRM system (Salesforce, Zoho, Opera, or banquet-specific CRM tools).
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports to track performance.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and customer preferences.
