Role & responsibilities

1.Guest Interaction

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements.

• Take food and beverage orders and relay them accurately to the kitchen or bar.
• Address guest queries or concerns with guidance from senior staff.

2. Service Support

• Assist in setting up dining areas, buffet counters, and event spaces.
• Serve food and beverages to guests following service protocols.
• Clear tables and ensure the cleanliness of service areas.

3. Operational Assistance

• Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
• Refill condiments, beverages, and tableware as required.
• Monitor inventory of dining essentials and report restocking needs.

4. Hygiene and Safety

• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards in all service and preparation areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining tables, utensils, and serving equipment.
• Participate in periodic inspections to ensure compliance with health regulations.

5. Upselling and Promotions

• Suggest complementary dishes or beverages to enhance guest experience.
• Communicate details of ongoing promotions, discounts, or packages to guests.

6. Learning and Development

• Observe and assist senior staff in daily operations to understand service workflows.
• Participate in training sessions to improve technical and interpersonal skills.
• Shadow team leaders to learn about customer service and operational management.

7. Team Collaboration

• Support team members during peak hours and special events.
• Assist in organizing and executing banquet or catering events.
• Share feedback and ideas for improving service quality with the team.
