Job Description
- Providing tax planning and compliance services, including identifying tax opportunities and risks, recommending tax strategies, and estimating tax liabilities
- Providing guidance to clients on cross-border tax issues.
- Maintaining knowledge of current US tax laws, regulations, and procedures, as well as cross-border tax issues and basic knowledge of Indian income tax
- Communicating tax updates and changes to clients and team members.
- Interact with client personnel regarding tax return information, deadlines, etc., and keep the team informed on the status.
- Look for opportunities to provide value-added services to clients.
Requirements
Requirements
- CPA or equivalent (such as Chartered Accountant, or ACCA) with at least 2 years of experience in US taxation and cross-border advisory
- Experience in reviewing and preparing federal and state tax returns, including corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns
- Fluency in speaking English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Must be able to learn any new tax and accounting software.
