IT Intern

• Provide technical support to end-users for software, hardware, and network issues via phone, email, or in person.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, ensuring minimal downtime for users.
  
• Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues, including operating systems, network configurations, and peripheral devices.
  
• Install and configure computer systems, software, and network devices for employees and clients.
  
• Maintain and update documentation on technical processes, system configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
  
• Assist with system maintenance tasks, including regular software updates and patches.
  
• Monitor system performance and escalate issues to higher-level technical support when needed.
  
• Assist with onboarding new employees by setting up workstations and providing basic technical training.
  
• Collaborate with IT teams to improve technical processes, system security, and user support strategies.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and client data, following all relevant security policies. Requirements

Required Skills Qualifications:

• Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.
  
• Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, macOS) and software applications.
  
• Strong understanding of hardware troubleshooting and repair.
  
• Basic knowledge of networking and common networking tools ( TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, etc. ).
  
• Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Effective interaction with end-users requires both verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues quickly.
