Job Description
- Build rich, modern web and mobile experiences that are accessible, progressive, and responsive for an optimal user experience
- Support a continuous delivery model while also enforcing quality, content structure, version control, and publishing strategies that support multiple deliverables, languages, and formats.
- Advocate for accessibility (A11y), localization (L10n), and front-end best practices while contributing to testing strategies and code reviews.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite
- Be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing
- 5+ years of experience with Java or a similar OO language
- Passion for JavaScript and the Web as a platform, reusability, and componentization
- Experience with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations
- Experience with any of the modern UI frameworks like Angular, React or Vue
- Experience in building custom applications on the ServiceNow Platform
- Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, performance optimization, and accessibility best practices
- Solid understanding of localization practices to ensure the web and mobile experience is culturally and linguistically adapted for diverse audiences.
- Analytical and design skills
