Field Application Engineer (Embedded)

Roles and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Field Application Manager, the successful candidate will

• Work closely with the PM & Sales team to cultivate and drive demand creation strategy in the region
• Work closely with Suppliers to create design activities with potential customers, with regular monitoring and tracking of the activities
• Provide recommendation and technical support to customers
• Maintain a good supplier relationship with the aim of getting technical support and developing business opportunities
• Resolve technical and application issues related to the represented product lines together with the supplier

Requirements:

• Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2~5 years of relevant working experience in product development and/or field application and preferably in Semiconductor Distribution Environment
• Competent technical knowledge and good understanding of MCU applications. Additional knowledge of Analog and Power will be beneficial.
• Hands-on experience in MCU, GPS module will be an added advantage. Knowledge of C/C++ is mandatory.
• Should have Analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Candidate with proven track records and experience will be preferred for the position
• Self-driven, out-going personality, good communication skills and a fast learner with keen interest in learning a wide range of products and applications.
