Job Title: Node.js Developer with GCP Certification
Location: Chennai
Job Type: Full-time

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Node.js Developer with at least 2 years of experience in developing scalable and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will also hold a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Certification and have hands-on experience with GCP services like Cloud Functions, Kubernetes, Firestore, and other cloud-native technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance Node.js applications.
• Implement and deploy cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Work with GCP services such as Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Firestore, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Kubernetes.
• Optimize application performance and ensure the application runs efficiently on the cloud infrastructure.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the application.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
• Work in an agile environment, participating in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues and provide solutions to resolve them.
• Continuously improve your knowledge of cloud technologies and development best practices.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of professional experience with Node.js development.
• GCP Certification (Google Cloud Certified - Associate Cloud Engineer or equivalent) with experience deploying and managing applications on GCP.
• Proficient with RESTful APIs and Microservices Architecture.
• Experience with cloud-based databases (Firestore, BigQuery, Cloud SQL) and storage (Cloud Storage).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Google Cloud Build.
• Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Strong understanding of software design principles and cloud-native application patterns.
• Familiarity with cloud security practices and best practices for protecting cloud-based applications.
• Proficient in version control using Git.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical team members.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with serverless architecture using Google Cloud Functions.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Pub/Sub for event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
