Key Responsibilities :
System Administration :
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers, including user and group management, security patches, and system updates.
- Manage and maintain Active Directory, file servers, and application servers.
- Administer virtualization environments using VMware, Hyper-V, or similar platforms.
- Perform regular backups, restoration, and disaster recovery planning.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot system-related issues, and optimize resources.
- Maintain security compliance and enforce access control measures.
- Manage software deployment and licensing.
Network Administration :
- Design, configure, and manage LAN, WAN, and VPN networks.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls, and access points.
- Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues promptly.
- Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Plan and execute network upgrades and capacity expansions.
- Ensure secure and seamless internet access and network communication.
Security and Compliance :
- Implement and enforce IT security best practices and policies.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and ensure timely remediation.
- Manage endpoint security solutions, including antivirus and anti-malware tools.
- Maintain network and system logs for auditing and incident response.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting :
- Provide Level 2/3 technical support for system and network issues.
- Respond to and resolve incidents promptly to minimize downtime.
- Document system configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps.
- Collaborate with vendors for hardware and software issue resolution.
