About the Role:
- We are seeking a seasoned Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team in Bangalore.
- As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing payroll processes for our global operations, specifically focusing on Singapore, Australia, and China.
- Your role will involve ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with local regulations, and effective communication with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, validate, and process payroll data for employees in Singapore, Australia, and China.
- Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, taxes, and other deductions.
- Process payroll through the Workday HR system or other relevant systems.
- Verify and reconcile payroll reports to identify and rectify discrepancies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest payroll regulations and tax laws in Singapore, Australia, and China.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and statutory requirements.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with HR, finance, and other departments to gather necessary information.
- Respond to employee inquiries and resolve payroll-related issues.
- Communicate effectively with payroll providers and external stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Implement best practices to optimize payroll operations.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
- Experience with Workday HR system is preferred.
- Familiarity with payroll processing tools and systems.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, including salary calculations, tax deductions, and statutory compliance.
- Understanding of payroll regulations in Singapore, Australia, and China.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadline.
