Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Software Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance system-level software using C++.

• Develop multi-threaded and distributed applications with a focus on performance and reliability.

• Implement and optimize algorithms for system-level tasks.

System/OS Integration:

• Work closely with healthcare device teams to integrate software with system hardware.

• Integrate low-level system components and 3p components.

• Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues, including memory management, concurrency, and performance bottlenecks.

IoT and AWS (Good-to-Have):

• Design and implement IoT solutions, including device communication and data processing.

• Utilize AWS services for cloud-based IoT solutions, such as AWS IoT Core, EC2, and S3

Collaboration & Documentation:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Cloud and DevOps, to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.

• Work with external teams to help with the platform adoption and integration.

• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, code comments, and operational procedures.

System Optimization & Troubleshooting:

• Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and security.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software and system issues.

• Analyze impact of technology choices

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in C++, system/OS technologies, IoT, and AWS.

• Proactively suggest improvements and enhancements to existing systems and processes.

Education Qualification

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with a minimum of 6+ years of experience in Software Development

Experience:

• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on C++ and system/OS knowledge.

• Expertise with multi-threaded and distributed applications.

• Good-to-have experience with IoT technologies and AWS services.

• Proficiency in Windows and Unix programming.

• Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems

• Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts
