Senior Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager or Director to lead our operations and digitalization advisory services for the textile and apparel manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business development, leading project delivery, building and mentoring a high-performing team, and positioning our firm as a trusted advisor within the industry. This role will manage the P&L of the portfolio and collaborate with network firms and third parties to offer services across South East Asia, other major textile manufacturing countries, and key apparel markets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development:

• Identify and pursue business opportunities within the textile and apparel manufacturing sector.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including manufacturers, brands, retailers, and industry associations.
• Create and implement strategic plans to achieve business growth and market penetration.

2. Project Delivery:

• Lead and oversee the delivery of advisory projects focused on operations improvement and digitalization.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting client expectations.
• Apply best practices and innovative solutions to enhance client operations and drive digital transformation.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and partners to develop comprehensive solutions and ensure seamless project delivery.

3. Team Building and Leadership:

• Recruit, develop, and mentor a team of skilled consultants.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages professional growth and knowledge sharing.
• Set clear performance goals and provide regular feedback to team members.

4. Strategic Positioning:

• Position the firm as a trusted advisor within the textile and apparel manufacturing sector.
• Develop thought leadership content, participate in industry forums, and represent the firm at key events.
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to enhance the firms visibility and reputation.

5. P&L Management:

• Manage the financial performance of the operations and digitalization advisory portfolio.
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial targets.
• Implement cost-effective strategies to maximise profitability and ensure sustainable growth.

6. Collaboration and Networking:

• Work closely with other network firms to offer services to South East Asian countries and other major textile manufacturing regions.
• Establish and maintain relationships with international development agencies, government departments, and global organizations.
• Coordinate with global teams to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients headquartered in major apparel markets.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and partners to leverage additional expertise and capabilities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Textile Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in consulting or operations improvement and digitalization in the textile and apparel sector.
• Proven track record in business development and managing client relationships.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of industry trends, challenges, and best practices.
• Financial acumen with experience in managing P&L.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within India, Bangladesh, and other target regions.
