Accounting Senior Executive

Key Responsibilities:

1. Bank Payments & Reconciliation:
• Prepare and process daily bank payments, including vendor payments, staff reimbursements, and other disbursements.
• Ensure accuracy of payment details and supporting documentation before authorization.
• Monitor bank balances, manage fund transfers, and update cash flow schedules.
• Perform bank reconciliations regularly to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
2. Audit Schedules Preparation:
• Assist in preparing detailed audit schedules, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, accruals, and other general expense schedules.
• Compile and organize supporting documents required for internal and external audits.
• Coordinate with internal auditors to address queries and provide necessary information on time.
3. Accounts Payable & General Ledger Support:
• Review and verify invoices, ensuring proper approvals and documentation.
• Record and reconcile transactions related to bank payments in the general ledger.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including journal entries and accrual postings.
4. Compliance & Documentation:
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and banking guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all payment transactions and audit-related files.
5. Collaboration & Support:
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues related to payments and audit requirements.
• Assist in the implementation of process improvements for payment and audit preparation activities.
