Key Responsibilities

1. Payroll Processing
• Accurately process bi-weekly/monthly payroll for all employees.
• Ensure compliance with statutory deductions, including taxes, social security, and retirement contributions.
• Manage payroll adjustments such as bonuses, overtime, and leaves.
2. Compliance & Reporting
• Ensure payroll complies with labour laws and tax regulations.
• Prepare and submit statutory filings, including tax reports, PF, ESI, and TDS (India-specific or equivalent globally).
• Generate payroll reports for internal and external audits.
3. Employee Records Management
• Maintain accurate employee data, including new hires, terminations, and salary revisions.
• Keep records of attendance, leaves, and benefits to support payroll processing.
4. Issue Resolution
• Address employee queries related to salary, tax deductions, and payslips.
• Resolve discrepancies in payroll records and ensure timely corrections.
5. System & Process Improvement
• Work with HRIS/Payroll software to enhance efficiency.
• Suggest and implement process improvements for better accuracy and timeliness.
6. Collaboration
• Coordinate with HR and Finance teams for data collection, validation, and reporting.
• Assist in budget planning by providing accurate payroll data.
