Job Description

A rapidly growing professional services group headquartered in Mumbai with offices across India and overseas is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time Graphic/Web Designer to work in-house in its marketing and communications team. As a Graphic/Web Designer , you will work closely with a creative team to conceptualize, design, develop, and execute a wide range of materials for our corporate brand.

Role: The candidate should be proficient in both graphic design and web development, and a versatile individual .

Experience Level: 2-4 years of experience working in a creative agency or in-house design team.

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design:

  • Design and layout of marketing materials including brochures, flyers, social media post, digital ads, presentations, videos, logos, web banners, and more to enhance both internal and external communications
  • Work with peers and colleagues in a team, with copywriters, other designers to produce collaterals and visuals for various media
  • Collaborate and liaise with external partners (printers, vendors, event managers) to facilitate and support projects and initiatives
  • Ability to turn out graphics from concept to completion while meeting deadlines
  • Organizational and time-management skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Creating visual concepts, by hand or using computer software
  • Preparing artwork files for printing

Web Design:

  • Designing and developing user-friendly websites, landing pages, microsites and emailers
  • Creating Emailers using email marketing platforms like Mailchimp.
  • Ensuring website compatibility across different browsers and devices

Collaboration:

  • Working closely with marketing and sales teams to understand project requirements
  • Collaborating with other designers and developers on team projects

Required Skills and Experience:

Design Skills:

  • 2-4 years of experience working in a creative agency or in-house design team
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Corel Draw - Capable of creating meaningful illustrations to assist with infographics and iconography
  • Excellent skills in layout and typography
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Word) for Key presentation decks, reports, and articles.
  • Understanding of printing processes (offset, digital, flexography, etc. ), color models (CMYK, RGB), file formats (PDF, AI, EPS), paper types, finishing options (lamination, die-cutting), and print quality standards (color calibration, resolution).

Development Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress, etc.
  • Good knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, Search Console, Mailchimp, etc.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to identify and resolve design and development challenges
  • Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in graphic design/web design, fine arts, or related field.
  • Applicants MUST provide a portfolio of work.

  • Communication/Feedback - Should believe in providing feedback to other associates and receiving feedback to enhance performance, thereby meeting business objectives - the focus is on OPEN COMMUNICATION
